Mobility concept Donaufeld

Due to the overall urban development concept for the Vienna Donaufeld 'Stadtklima entwerfen', almost one-third of the 60 hectare covering area shall be provided for public green and open space. The subordination of the individual motor car traffic facilitates the upgrading of ecomobility and allows the street scape to be used alternatively. The measure results in an extended publicly usable living environment. DnD landscape planning created an open space system, including various space typologies as well as the entire quarter’s street scape. The concept serves as basis for further developments, offering a multifunctional usable, integrative living space.
