Redesign Neubaugasse, Vienna

In cooperation with the CITY OF VIENNA 'In Vienna we don't just talk about climate protection, we act!' (Environment & Public Transport City Councillor Ulli Sima). Neubaus district leader Markus Reiter comments: 'The cool zone of Neubau is growing. With Neubaugasse, we are creating Vienna's first climate-adapted cool encounter zone and making Neubaugasse fit for the future for the next decades. The new encounter zone was created in an intensive planning process, during which we held several discussion events with the population and also worked closely with the merchants of Neubaugasse. The result is impressive. More space for meeting and recreation for the residents as well as an upgrading of the shopping street Neubaugasse. We are creating a climate-friendly showcase street as a living and strolling space.'
